31 October 2026 · The Joymakers Collective

The short answer: Keep it under 30 seconds: say hi, say thanks, and tell guests what to share. Record on your phone in a quiet room and send it to us at least 48 hours before your event.

The three-line formula

  1. Hello

Who you are, with a smile.

  2. Thanks

    For coming to the event.

  3. The ask

What you'd love them to share.

Scripts you can copy

  1. Wedding

Hi, it's us! Thank you for celebrating with us today. Leave us your best marriage advice, or a memory of us, after this.

  2. Birthday

Hey, thanks for coming to my party! Tell me your favourite memory of us, or a wish for this year.

  3. Work event

Hi everyone, thanks for being here. Share a highlight from this year, or a shout-out to a teammate.

  4. Farewell

Thanks for coming to say goodbye. Leave a message, a memory or some advice for the next chapter.
