The short answer: Our tattoos are normal water-transfer temporary tattoos. Press the tattoo face down on clean, dry skin, wet the back, wait, then peel the paper away. Baby oil or soap and water takes it off.

Applying one at the vanity station

  1. 1

    Peel off the clear film.

  2. 2

Press the tattoo face down on clean, dry skin.

  3. 3

Wet the back well with the water spray or a damp cotton pad.

  4. 4

Hold for about 30 seconds, then slide the paper off.

  5. 5

Let it dry before it touches clothes.

Where it looks best

  1. Inner wrist or forearm

Easy to show off in photos.

  2. Back of the hand

Fun, but wears off faster with hand washing.

  3. Collarbone or ankle

A nice touch with a dress.

Taking it off

Rub with baby oil or make-up remover, then wash with soap and water. Tape can lift any small bits that stay.

Sensitive skin? Skip any broken or irritated skin, and try a small spot first if unsure.
