Privacy policy
How we look after your personal data, under Singapore's PDPA.
Last updated: 1 November 2026
The Joymakers Collective LLP ("we", "us"), UEN T26LL0903E, rents out event experiences in Singapore. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
What we collect
- Your contact details: name, email, phone number and, if you give it, your Instagram handle.
- Your event: date, venue address, set-up and teardown times, and notes you add.
- Your on-site contact: their name and phone number. Please only give these with their agreement.
- Designs you upload for stickers, tattoos or prompt cards.
- Payments: the amount, date and payment reference. Card and PayNow details are handled by our payment provider, Airwallex; we never see your full card number.
- Messages you send us by WhatsApp, Instagram or email, and reviews you leave.
- Guest videos recorded on The Memory Booth at your event, which show your guests' faces and voices.
How we use it
- To take and manage your booking, deliver and collect the equipment, and run your event.
- To take payments, send receipts and invoices, and return your security deposit.
- To send booking confirmations, payment requests and reminders by email and WhatsApp.
- To deliver your guest videos to you.
- To keep the accounting records the law requires.
- To feature your event on our social media, only if you agreed when you booked.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask for them.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help us run your booking, and only what each one needs:
- Airwallex (payments)
- Google (website hosting, our booking database and file storage)
- Zoho Books (invoices and accounting)
- WhatsApp, by Meta, and Resend (sending you booking messages and emails)
- Telegram (booking alerts to our own team)
Some of these providers store data outside Singapore. We use providers that protect personal data to a standard comparable to the PDPA. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Designs you upload are deleted 30 days after your event (or sooner if the booking does not go ahead).
- Guest videos stay on your private link for 30 days after we deliver them. Please download your copy. After that we can retrieve them for a $30 fee, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
- Booking and payment records are kept for 5 years, as Singapore law requires for business records.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The booking page may save your unfinished booking in your own browser, so you do not lose it if you leave the page.
Keeping it safe
Your data is stored with our providers above, and only our partners and the staff who need it for your booking can see it. If a data breach is likely to harm you, we will tell you and the Personal Data Protection Commission as the PDPA requires.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or stop using it for something you agreed to (such as featuring your event). We reply within 30 days. If you withdraw consent we need to run a booking, we may not be able to continue it. You can also contact the Personal Data Protection Commission.
